We work directly with robotics companies and AI teams to support real-world robot deployments and data capture, ensuring systems operate reliably in live environments and that high-quality data is collected for training, evaluation, and deployment.
Our work happens on the ground — in factories, labs, and deployment sites — where speed, reliability, and technical judgment matter.
We’re hiring a Field Technical Support Engineer based in Shenzhen to support robot deployments and data capture operations.
This is a hands-on, on-site role. You will be responsible for ensuring robots are deployed correctly, operating smoothly, and capturing high-quality data in real environments. You’ll work closely with customers, remote engineering teams, and teleoperation staff to keep deployments running reliably.
Support on-site robot deployments, pilots, and evaluations
Set up, calibrate, and validate robotic systems in real environments
Troubleshoot hardware, software, sensor, and networking issues in real time
Act as the on-site technical owner during deployments
Lead and oversee data capture during live robot operation
Ensure data is collected according to defined requirements and quality standards
Monitor sensors, video streams, and telemetry during capture sessions
Identify and resolve issues that could impact data integrity or usability
Support teleoperation workflows during deployments
Coordinate with remote operators and engineering teams
Assist with setup, testing, and monitoring of teleop systems
Escalate issues clearly and efficiently when needed
Serve as the local point of contact in Shenzhen
Communicate deployment status, issues, and resolutions to remote teams
Document on-site issues, fixes, and best practices
Provide feedback to improve deployment, capture, and operational processes
Prior experience as a field technician, field engineer, or on-site support engineer at a robotics company
Hands-on experience supporting real-world robot deployments
Comfortable working with:
Robots and sensors
Cameras, compute, and networking
Linux-based systems
Experience supporting or working alongside teleoperation systems
Highly hands-on and comfortable troubleshooting in the field
Calm under pressure and able to resolve issues on-site
Detail-oriented and quality-focused
A strong communicator between field teams and remote engineering
Willing and able to travel locally to deployment sites
Experience in factories, labs, or industrial environments
Familiarity with robotics data capture or evaluation workflows
Ability to read technical documentation in English and communicate with global teams
Be on the front lines of real-world robotics deployments
Play a critical role in system reliability and data quality
Work closely with cutting-edge robotics platforms and teams
High autonomy, ownership, and real operational impact
