We have established successful and well-maintained long-term cooperation and relationships with Latvian health insurance companies and healthcare institutions, including the largest, medium sized and niche players, e.g., general practitioners, dental care clinics, cardiology clinics etc. Our services are based on our proprietary software and IT solutions for business process automation and mobility, helping our clients save time and resources, e.g., physical paper forms.
Our main products and services are SmartMedical, Health Insurance Settlements and doctor appointments’ booking service Piearsta.lv.
As we are growing and expanding our business, we’d like Latvian speaking Senior Service Engineer to join our cohesive and professional team.
• Ensure that our services are delivered correctly to the customers
• Maintenance and operations of OS, DB and proprietary applications
• Automate service maintenance and operations tasks with scripting (Bash, PHP, SQL)
• Troubleshooting of complex systems, including application debugging and engaging with the development team
• Incident response and resolution
• Processing of complex client support requests
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Motivated and self-organized individual with "can do" attitude
The ideal candidate should have
• At least couple of years of working experience with Linux/UNIX
• At least couple of years of working experience with MySQL and Apache (or nginx) server
• Proficiency in networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, SMTP)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, Zabbix, Nagios etc.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, customer/user empathy
• High sense of responsibility
• Accurate and detail-oriented approach to work
• Native/advanced (C level) Latvian, basic English
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of / experience with healthcare business processes would be a great advantage
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of regulatory environments (NIS2, DORA, GDPR)
• Supportive and friendly colleagues/team, sharing common knowledge and expertise
